Design by Eva Schildt, 2013

The idea of Äng is to give each individual flower support to stand by itself. The vase has a metal insert with a beautiful pattern, which makes it a piece of art. The structure lets the flowers fall into place and create a nice and organised flower decoration.

The vase is mouth blown clear glass from Böhmen, Czech Republic and the handmade metal insert is available in brass and silver plated.

Big:  H: 10cm Ø: 21cm

Care
The brass has been varnished to be water resistant, but remember to wipe away any sap residue from the brass surface. If you leave the water in the vase for a long period without replacing it with fresh water, sap residue/particles might penetrate the varnish and the brass may become discoloured. Some types of plant fertilisers can have the same effect on the metal part. Wash the insert with water and non-abrasive washing detergent. It may be hard to remove sap that has penetrated the varnish – it is therefore important to make sure to immediately wipe away any plant residue.
