The Tangent Table is created for dk3 by Danish architect and designer Anne Boysen. Inspired by organic forms and sculptural geometry, she has created a modern dining table that combines aesthetics and function in perfect harmony. The table comes in a rectangular and a round version, each interpreting the distinct and original design characterised by its asymmetrical tabletop and unique base. depending on the viewer’s angle - just like a sculpture.The Tangent Table Round is extendable with up to two extension leaves. When extended, the table changes character and grows in function, without losing its light and harmonious feeling. The extension system is integrated into the design with an apron that conceals the fittings and completes the table’s flowing lines.
