INTERIOR DESIGNER ROLE - JAN 2023

Our busy design team is growing and we are looking for a creative Interior Designer with at least 3 years experience ready to undertake projects from concept through to completion.
Ideally, the new team member will have a keen interest in Scandinavian design with knowledge of Nordic brands. The right person will be comfortable working as part of a diverse team with good interpersonal skills and a “can do” attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Home visits and in-studio client meetings as well as site meetings
• Outline objectives from client brief and produce project proposals
  based on same
• Create concept boards and design plan visuals
• Create schemes to meet client brief and budget
• Manage projects and supervise work progress
• Research and specify products, materials and finishes
• Work closely with clients, designers, architects, suppliers, tradespeople and contractors

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Creative design ability with excellent attention to detail
• Supporting portfolio of work
• Project management experience
• Expertise in space layout, furniture and lighting selection, colour schemes, bespoke joinery, material and finish specification
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in relevant software packages – SketchUp and Adobe CS preferred
• Qualification in Interior Design or related field
